Patient Group Directions
These documents allow some healthcare practitioners to supply or administer medicines without the need to get a prescription (or patient specific direction) first.

PGD Library
The corporate signatures for the PGDs listed below are held on file by Tony Jamieson and can be made available on request.
The Unified PGD for Immunisation (uPGD-I© NHS Leeds) covers the administration of vaccines in line with the guidelines in the Green Book.
Advice on the use of the uPGD-I can be found here. Practitioners should report any incident relating to immunisation, the cold chain or the uPGD-I on Datix.
