NHS Leeds' Strategy 'For better health for all' describes how the organisation will move towards its vision; "To improve health and wellbeing, reduce inequalities and transform health services for the people of Leeds by working with others and being a leading edge organisation".
This was drafted after listening carefully to the health and wellbeing priorities of the people of Leeds and our partner organisations. It brings together our challenges and aspirations and sets our course for the future.
The full strategy sets out our commitment to become the trusted community leader of the local NHS, and move towards delivery of our vision. To achieve this, we will work in close partnership with health professionals to look at new approaches to services and will involve the public in their design. At the same time, we will look for even better value for money from the many services we commission.
NHS Leeds will share progress towards the delivery of our objectives on an annual basis.
