About us

How we work with our partners

To ensure that we provide the best possible services and achieve our aim of improving the health and wellbeing of the population of Leeds, NHS Leeds works closely with partners across the city.

Some of our partners include the Local Authority, the Healthy Leeds Partnership, other NHS organisations, Clinical Commissioning Groups, independent practitioners, voluntary organisations, the Yorkshire & Humber Specialised Commissioning Group, and the Health Protection Agency.

We also have the Leeds Transformation Programme, which is a city-wide agreement between Health and Social Care partners to work together to deliver the challenges ahead, including increasing quality and innovation and productivity.

It is designed to bring key organisations together on this important task; to ensure their full engagement in identifying and delivering the most appropriate solutions to sustain quality while substantially reducing the overall cost in the Leeds health and social care economy.
