About us

Local authority

Leeds headrow and town hall at night

NHS Leeds work closely with the Local Authority (Leeds City Council) to provide a range of health and social care services for both adults and children.

NHS Leeds and Leeds City Council (LCC) integrate the planning, commissioning and provision of services to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Leeds, and ensure services provide value for money and improved patient experiences.

Other drivers for closer working are the Health and Wellbeing Board, theĀ Leeds Strategic Plan, the Healthy Leeds Partnership, the Leeds Children's Trust and the Comprehensive Area Assessment.
