NHS Calderdale, NHS Kirklees, NHS Wakefield District, NHS Airedale and Bradford and NHS Leeds are the organisations currently responsible for planning and buying health services for the population of West Yorkshire. From April 2013 these responsibilities will be taken on by the NHS Commissioning Board.
There are currently five different services across West Yorkshire and the contracts for these come to an end on 31st March 2014. A new contract therefore needs to be put in place across the whole of West Yorkshire. Before we plan this important change, we want to hear your views about what the service could look like. These views will then be assessed, along with information about clinical quality and financial sustainability, to plan the new service to start in spring 2014.
