Public health strategies

NHS Leeds is committed to tackling health inequalities. To help us achieve this we are working closely with partners across the city to tackle lifestyle issues that could have an impact on people's health.

Our work is supported by a number of strategies in key areas including:

  • reducing alcohol-related harm;
  • encouraging people to quit smoking;
  • encouraging mothers to breastfeed;
  • tackling childhood obesity; and
  • improving the uptake of immunisations.

We have made these strategies available to download from this page - please note we will be adding documents to this page. If you need a strategy that is not available to download here please get in touch with us.
