Welcome to the 4th Annual Improving Health and Wellbeing conference. Public Health is a complex but rewarding field which requires a range of multi-disciplinary and collaborative approaches in order to bring about change within communities, organisations and individuals.
The theme this year aims to embed promoting healthy lifestyles into everyone’s role and will show-case the ambitious new initiatives helping the population of Leeds live more healthily. This includes improving engagement with and access to healthy lifestyle and behaviour change opportunities, workforce development, healthy places and outcomes intelligence. We will focus on how everyone has a role to play through:
The conference welcomes everyone who’s work role can impact on improving health and wellbeing for the population of Leeds, including;

- Local Authority (including arms length management organisations (ALMO’s), Education, Early Years
- Voluntary and Faith sector
- Commercial sector
