Health and Wellbeing Conference 2012

H&WB Conf 2012

'Healthy Lives For All - Our City'

Together making changes for healthier lives in Leeds – What can you do?

8th March 2012, Leeds Marriott Hotel, Leeds City Centre

Welcome to the 4th Annual Improving Health and Wellbeing conference. Public Health is a complex but rewarding field which requires a range of multi-disciplinary and collaborative approaches in order to bring about change within communities, organisations and individuals.

The theme this year aims to embed promoting healthy lifestyles into everyone’s role and will show-case the ambitious new initiatives helping the population of Leeds live more healthily. This includes improving engagement with and access to healthy lifestyle and behaviour change opportunities, workforce development, healthy places and outcomes intelligence. We will focus on how everyone has a role to play through:

  • Strengthening self-esteem, confidence and access to a healthy lifestyle support
