The Leeds Learning Disability Partnership Board has organised Leeds Learning Disability Week running from Monday 20 - Sunday 26 June 2011.
Many people with a learning disability still do not get equal chances in life. Our campaign is about making things fairer and more accessible. It is about giving us better chances in every area of our lives, like work, education, social life, health and in the community.
We hope lots of organisations and people in the public eye will support The People’s Promise. It is very simple. All we are asking is your support to help people with a learning disability feel more welcome, respected and involved. This could be a personal promise or it could be how your organisation is improving access and opportunity for people with a learning disability.
You can make your promise here.
We have some exciting activities planned for Learning Disability Week - find out more here.
