Arts and Minds Network

This group brings people together to share creativity, knowledge and resources so that arts can flourish in health and social care settings. They aim to increase public knowledge and understanding of mental health through the arts and to support individuals receiving health and social care services. The network is open to everyone with an interest in the role of arts in health.

Candlelighters Trust

This group provides support for siblings, adolescents, bereaved families and parents of children with brain tumours. The group also runs fundraising activities to support the Paediatric and Adolescent Oncology and Haematology Unit based at St James's Hospital and holds half-yearly meetings with speakers.

MASH - Mastectomy Association Self Help

This group provides; support for all breast care patients, an opportunity to meet together socially for mutual support, informal chat and a cup of tea, meetings with speakers and occasional social outings.

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation - Leeds

This group provides an opportunity for people affected by lung cancer to get together, learn more about lung cancer issues, listen to guest speakers and meet the local lung cancer support nurse.

SHARE - Group For Women With Secondary Breast Cancer

Facilitated by a clinical psychologist and a Breast Care Nurse, this group offers an opportunity to share frankly your feelings and concerns in a supportive and confidential environment with people in a similar position. Meetings are held at the Macmillan Information Centre, St James Hospital.
